Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
1. Why CMJ Journals needs publication fee?
All articles published in CMJ Journals are open access. The Open Access publishing provides unrestricted access of articles to all readers, anywhere in the world. The Article Publication fee is for the editorial and production costs of the journal, for hosting the website, publishing articles online, preparing HTML, PDF and XML versions of the articles and submitting the articles in an electronic citation database like CrossRef, ISI, IIJIF, SIS, Academia.edu, Publons, ResearchGate, WorldCat, DRJI, Scilit, Microsoft Academic, Google Scholar, etc.
Our financial goals are:
› To recover the capitalization costs happened during the production process.
› Produce sufficient revenue for the maintenance of editorial activities and allow for a sustainable and scalable publishing program, under continuous development.
› Bend the publication-charge cost downward over time.

The Article processing charges for journals mentioned in the below table.
CMJ Journals offers discounts for article processing charges (APCs) for papers whose corresponding authors are based in middle/low-income countries. Please follow the below mentioned APC based on countries classified by the World Bank
The article processing fee for American Journal of Science Education Research (AJSER) is USD 1360 to USD 1960 (depending on the type of article, availability of Funding Support, and the income status of the country), since American Journal of Science Education Research (AJSER) is a self-supporting journal which uses a business model that includes Article Processing Charges (APCs) to cover production costs incurred from administration for peer review publication, graphic conversion (PDF, XML, HTML), copy editing, hosting the journal online, archiving, indexing and covering journal production charges.
There is no charge for the authors if they wish to withdraw their manuscript from initial stages of processing. However, the author needs to pay a minimal amount as withdrawal charge if the article has been processed and accepted for publication. This amount will be utilized to compensate the costs incurred during the process and publication.
If an author withdraws manuscript after acceptance of the article, then he/she will be asked to pay partial processing fee of 50%. Each and every manuscript submission costs us (CMJ Publishers) certain amount along with overhead cost during processing. Manuscripts peer review process is completed (which can often happen within a week), and it has been worked into a journal issue, we have incurred costs on our end that need to be reimbursed.
